BRECK’S
Product Recommendation Email Campaign

Responsible for:
COPYWRITING | CURATING CONTENT | DESIGNING | DEVELOPMENT

My goal as a consultant is to explore all facets of a campaign to see where there are opportunities for improvement: design, development, strategy, content, etc. This Product recommendation campaign seems to function well, but there are missed opportunities within the message.

Key improvements: Personalization, content hierarchy, mobile optimization

  • Add a primary offer that is collection based since products fall under the same category. It is an easy way create more storytelling within a campaign and tie it together more cohesively.

  • Feature a personalized, singular item with more product information and features to allow the customer more information to readily purchase.

  • Pull in personalized content of the product based on the customer’s USDA planting zone reminding them that it is a great fit for their garden.

  • Pull in product recommendations not only based on search history, but based on past purchase history since numerous product offerings for this client are complementary in nature. Multiple products can be stacked as content is set up in a modular framework which will allow for dynamic personalization.

  • Create an optimized visual appearance while using image sizing and placement to allow for hierarchy of content.

  • Create a mobile optimized experience including use of an enhanced interactive navigation.

  • Reduce visual noise and redundancies. Add white space to allow for breathing room.
